Mission Statement (prior to 6/30/2019)
Tp live with integrity, minimizing regret through the development & maintenance of self-awareness and self-control, constantly striving(?) to embody what it means to be a virtuous person while balancing that self-absorption against a dedicated focus on the universal and perpetual reduction of suffering as well as a similar promotion of growth and well-being.
To be a good father, husband, friend and family member, as well as a good mentor, colleague, citizen, and custodian of my portion of the planet, embodied in the form of deed and word as an active force against the decline & decay, as well as for the growth and development, of our greater humanity.
To honor & respect the long history of life that came before me by seeking to understand & care for the processes that led to my life & the lives of others. To care for my current body through a regular measurement, maintenance, and review process.
To experience, create, and share joy, play, and beauty.
